Anyone Who Ever Brought a Potluck Dish
When we have potlucks here at the church and folks bring covered dishes.. sometimes those ”dishes” get left here at the church. There is now quite a collection of dishes pots/pans/platters etc that do not belong to the kitchen. So PLEASE when you get a chance, IF you have brought dishes in the past and think you MIGHT have something down there, please check it and take it home. THANKS !!

We will be selling “Entertainment Books” Sunday after the service, and each Sunday following while supplies last. Books are $20, and our profit is $4 per book. After selling 51 books, our profit will be $10/book. These are a great value for dining out (casual & fine dining), automotive services, theme park discount, and many, many more discounts. - More UUCJ Music on YouTube, from Henson's Birthday Concert
Normally the minister is not in the pulpit one Sunday each month. If you are interested in delivering a sermon at UUCJ, or you know of someone who you would like to, please contact Religious Services Chair Peter Racine at racinep@comcast.net. If you don’t wish to take on a whole sermon but would like to read a meditation piece, poem, etc. -- or if you would like to help on the Religious Services Committee in planning regular, special, and summer services -- please let Peter know.

On July 28, 2009 UUCJ received recognition as an Accredited Green Sanctuary. See what's going on with the Green Sanctuary Working Group and how you can help. Our hard work of the past 3 years has paid off and we are now a UUA accredited Green Sanctuary! The letter from national letting us know that our application was accepted was very complimentary and is posted on our GS activities pages for all to see. Our submitted application is also posted on the Green Santuary pages.

- Support WJCT and UUCJ’s public announcements on WJCT at the same time!
If you are planning to give a donation to support WJCT public radio, please consider doing so through the church. That way, the church gets credits toward continuing to place it’s Public Service Announcement on the radio. Make your check out to the church with a note on the memo line that the donation is for WJCT. The check will be deposited as a donation to the church, and will be forward as to WJCT in your name. We will be providing WJCT with your name, address and phone number so that they can also acknowledge your gift. Your tax deduction acknowledgement will be in your end-of-year statement from the church. If you have any questions, please contact Karen Roberson at msckaren@hotmail.com or 321-961-9152. Thanks for helping WJCT and getting UUCJ’s message out!
